The 1976 silver Proof Set includes the three .400 silver coins issued to mark the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence: Bicentennial Washington Quarter, Bicentennial Kennedy Half Dollar, and Bicentennial Eisenhower Dollar.
These coins were issued for one year only in place of the regular coins. All three coins feature the dual dates 1776-1976 the first regular-issue coins to include dual dates. These were the last-ever .400 silver coins struck by the U.S. Mint, and the Quarter and Dollar were the only .400 silver coins in their respective series. This was also the first silver-only Proof set in history. Proofs are the highest quality U.S. coins, and a Proof Set is a limited edition collection of the years coins. The coins were struck at the San Francisco Mint and bear the S mint mark.

Shipping Charges will be calculated once the Auction has closed and will be added to the invoice once pick-ups are completed. We ship through Canada Post, which means we only ship within the parameters of their dimensions & weight. Anything won in our auctions above and beyond that will be forfeited.
