This 1989 trade dollar was issued to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Canadian Hot Air Balloon Championships held in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, in July 1989. Encased in its original presentation box with a velvet-lined interior, the coin features detailed engravings of hot air balloons on one side and the city's 75th anniversary celebration on the reverse. Measuring approximately 1.5 inches in diameter, this piece is a charming nod to Canadian history and aviation enthusiasts alike.
