1996 Canada $2 "Toonie" coin, graded MS65 (Mint State 65) by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS).
Specifications: It is a bi-metallic coin featuring a nickel outer ring and an aluminum bronze inner core.
Design: The obverse depicts Queen Elizabeth II, and the reverse features a polar bear.
Value Notes: While the 1996 toonie is common, it is known for rare variations, such as those struck on German-made planchets, which feature distinct vertical lines in the bear's fur.
