This 1999 sterling silver 50-cent coin celebrates the legacy of James Naismith, the Canadian-born inventor of basketball. Encased in its original Royal Canadian Mint protective case (measuring 3.15 x 3.15 inches), this uncirculated coin features two basketball-themed designs: one on the coin itself and one engraved on the lid. The coin weighs 9.30 grams, has a diameter of 27.13 mm, and is crafted of 0.925 fine silver. Comes with its original informational card detailing the coin's historical significance.
