Winter's first storm brings with it dreams of snowy joy to come.
This coin is certified to be 99.99% fine silver with a diameter of 38 millimetres and a weight of 31.39 grams. The reverse image by Royal Canadian Mint engraver Konrad Wachelko features six tumbling snowflakes engraved in exceptional detail.
The lower right portion of the polished silver field is occupied by the largest snowflake. Its textural, feather-light arms are not precisely symmetrical, lending it a powerful air of realism. Its centre is embedded with an opal white Swarovski Element crystal.
It is flanked, to the left and above, by two more large six-sided snowflakes whose centres are embedded with opal white Swarovski Element crystals. In the background of the dynamic design, in the upper right-hand section, three more angled and swirling snowflakes seem to twirl across the coin's face. The reverse is engraved with the word 'CANADA' and the date '2012.' The obverse features the face value of '20 DOLLARS' and the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Shipping Charges will be calculated once the Auction has closed and will be added to the invoice once pick-ups are completed. We ship through Canada Post, which means we only ship within the parameters of their dimensions & weight. Anything won in our auctions above and beyond that will be forfeited.
