Black and white western print titled "The Wild Ones" by BJ Brown, reproduced from a detailed pencil drawing and dated 1995 in the image. Two cowboys drive a running herd of horses through a stream lined with bare birch and aspen trees, with water splashing around the horses' legs. The reflection in the water below reveals additional horse faces hidden among the ripples, adding a second image to discover within the scene. Signed BJ Brown in the plate lower right and hand signed again on the glass below the image, with the title in the lower margin. Framed under glass with double grey and black mats and a black frame, overall 31" x 18.5". Good condition, ready to hang. | | *Hidden-image western art, where a second scene appears within reflections or landscape details, became especially popular in the 1980s and 1990s and remains a favourite with horse and western art collectors. Shipping Charges will be calculated once the Auction has closed and will be added to the invoice once pick-ups are completed. We ship through Canada Post, which means we only ship within the parameters of their dimensions & weight. Anything won in our auctions above and beyond that will be forfeited.
Transportation fees start at $40.00 if you are unable to pick up your items on the scheduled day.
