Solid oak four-tier wall-mount plate rack with turned spindle rails, displaying 4 puppy collector plates. Includes 3 plates from the Edwin M. Knowles Field Puppies series by wildlife artist Lynn Kaatz: "Dog Tired - The Springer Spaniel" (1987, first issue), showing a Springer puppy resting on a duck decoy; "Caught in the Act - The Golden Retriever" (1987, second issue), with a golden puppy chewing a hunting vest; and "Missing the Point - The Irish Setter" (1988, third issue), with a red setter puppy and a covey of quail. Also includes a gold-rimmed plate signed Giordano, showing a fluffy puppy watching a mouse on a cluster of mushrooms. Plates in good condition with no visible chips or cracks noted. | | *The Knowles Field Puppies series was an 8-plate set issued 1987-1989 and was the first plate series sponsored by the United Kennel Club, with an original issue price of $32 per plate. Individual Field Puppies plates such as Missing the Point and Dog Tired list on eBay Canada at around CAD $57 each. The solid oak display rack adds further value as a ready-to-hang wall piece for any plate collection.

Shipping Charges will be calculated once the Auction has closed and will be added to the invoice once pick-ups are completed. We ship through Canada Post, which means we only ship within the parameters of their dimensions & weight. Anything won in our auctions above and beyond that will be forfeited.
Transportation fees start at $40.00 if you are unable to pick up your items on the scheduled day.
