This is a .925 sterling silver coin from the Mountbatten Medallic History of Great Britain & The Sea series. Depicts the H.M.S. Captain 1869 turret ship, designed by Captain Cowper Coles, and notes its capsize in 1870. The coin weighs 36.9g, containing 1.10 troy ounces of pure silver. Edge numbered 2663 with British hallmarks. Diameter approx. 44 mm.
