The Bamboo Palace was one of the First Chinese Food Restaurants in Edmonton. It was the first Chinese buffet and dim sum restaurant. Many Prime Ministers and Government Premiers have eaten off of these plates. This set has hundreds of pieces and the quality and design are exceptional. Prime Ministers since John Diefenbaker have dined on these dishes. John Lee was a founding father of Edmontons China Town as well.
