Large-format hockey team photo prints from the 1972-73 season, stored in a vintage black hard-sided portfolio case. Includes 2 Team Canada 1972 Summit Series prints on card stock, each 16" x 20", showing the full roster and coaching staff in the classic red maple leaf jerseys. Also includes 2 Alberta Oilers 1972-73 prints showing the team seated at centre ice over the Oilers logo in their original WHA jerseys, one on card stock measuring 13" x 19" and one on paper measuring 16" x 20". Each print has the team name and full player and staff roster printed below the photo. The Team Canada roster includes Ken Dryden, Phil Esposito, Bobby Clarke, Paul Henderson and coaches Harry Sinden and John Ferguson. The Oilers roster includes Jack Norris, Ken Baird, Jim Harrison and Rusty Patenaude. The prints are in good condition with bright colours. The portfolio case has a carry handle, buckle straps, metal corner protectors and an address card window, with wear, tape and sticker residue on the exterior. | | *The Alberta Oilers name was used for only one season. The franchise debuted in 1972-73 as a founding WHA team and returned to the Edmonton Oilers name for 1973-74, which makes original Alberta Oilers team material a scarce piece of early Oilers history. Team Canada 1972 roster posters sell individually in the C $25-35 range, with some listings recording 20 or more sales. Pairing both teams from the same landmark hockey year adds appeal for Canadian hockey collectors.

Shipping Charges will be calculated once the Auction has closed and will be added to the invoice once pick-ups are completed. We ship through Canada Post, which means we only ship within the parameters of their dimensions & weight. Anything won in our auctions above and beyond that will be forfeited.
Transportation fees start at $40.00 if you are unable to pick up your items on the scheduled day.
