LEE-Enfield 1914 Bolt-Action Military Rifle – British Proofed – Adjustable Volley Sight
Original military-style Enfield bolt-action rifle dated 1914, displaying numerous British military/proof markings and inspection stamps throughout the receiver and stock. This early rifle retains many of the characteristic features associated with First World War-era service rifles.
Features include a full-length hardwood military stock, bolt-action mechanism, military sling swivels, protected front sight and an adjustable rear/volley-style sight assembly with a graduated range scale. The metal components display various arsenal, proof and inspection markings, while the stock also carries visible stamped markings.
The rifle shows substantial age and service-related character, including finish wear, patina, handling marks, scratches and areas of oxidation consistent with an antique military firearm. The wood remains visually attractive with a deep aged finish and numerous period/use marks. Please review all photographs carefully for markings, configuration and overall condition.
