Lynn Malin is an established and celebrated Edmonton-based visual artist and printmaker who creates vibrant and unique mixed media works. Her work ranges from abstract and figurative contemporary paintings to modern mixed media installations. She has a great passion for printmaking, and has become known for her expressive linocut prints.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Lynn has been exploring artwork and fine art studies from a young age. With a BFA from Grant MacEwan University and a successful 25-year art education career under her belt, she has become an accomplished contemporary visual artist.
Since 2000, Lynn has pursued her professional art practice full-time. She is an active, self-taught printmaker and is highly recognised in the area for her beautiful and complex linocut prints. Her technique involves the use of many layers and textures to create dynamic works that pull the viewer into the visual story.
In addition to her artwork, Lynn has numerous awards, including the Boreal Collective’s Show of the Year and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts’ Artistic Merit Award. Her work can be found in art galleries and private collections in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Lynn’s artwork is constantly evolving and pushing the boundaries of contemporary art, allowing her to explore the depths of her creative vision and continue to surprise and delight her viewers. With her infectious enthusiasm and dedication to her art practice, she has become an inspiration in the Edmonton art community.

Shipping Charges will be calculated once the Auction has closed and will be added to the invoice once pick-ups are completed. We ship through Canada Post, which means we only ship within the parameters of their dimensions & weight. Anything won in our auctions above and beyond that will be forfeited.
