    Antonio Gerardi (1638-1702)

Famous artist and architect of the Italian period of XVII century

Gerardi created all 8 engravings of holy martyrs. After the first printing, he destroyed all of his boards. This is one of a few, unique and protected copies. The print is made on thick paper. Slight traces of use and aging are visible, especially on the back of the artwork.

The artwork has serious artistic and cultural value, indicating collector and historical rarity.
