Sony Trinicon HVC-2800 video camera, tested and working, in its original Sony Trinicon aluminum carry case with a red velvet fitted interior. The camera has a Sony Sonoptor 8x zoom lens (f=10.5-84mm, f/1.4) with power zoom, an electronic viewfinder with eyecup and accessory shoe, auto and variable iris, sensitivity control, and auto and fine white balance adjustment, with the Trinicon colour pickup tube. The case includes a Sony shotgun microphone with foam windscreen, a Sony Remote Commander, audio and video cables, a shoulder strap, and a storage pocket in the lid. The camera shows light wear with some scuffs to the body, and the case shows light general wear. | | *The Trinicon was Sony's single-tube colour video pickup system, and the HVC series cameras of the early 1980s were among the first consumer colour video cameras, paired with portable Betamax recorders. Complete, working examples with their original Trinicon flight case are sought after by vintage video collectors and filmmakers chasing an authentic analog look.

We ship through Canada Post, which means we only ship within the parameters of their dimensions & weight. Anything won in our auctions above and beyond that will be forfeited.
Transportation fees start at $40.00 if you are unable to pick up your items on the scheduled day.
