Sony Betamax portable videocassette recorder SL-2000 with its matching Sony TT-2000 tuner timer unit, plus more than a dozen Betamax tapes. The SL-2000 is a Beta II and III top-loading portable recorder with an LCD counter, piano-key transport controls, Betascan, swing search and slow motion, audio dub, a camera connector, and an NP-1 battery compartment. It docks on the TT-2000 tuner timer, which has 14 channel presets, a charging function, UHF and VHF inputs and outputs, RCA audio and video jacks, and a switched AC outlet. The tapes include Disney's Cinderella and Bambi, The Wizard of Oz, Weird Science, The Woman in Red, Meatballs, Troop Beverly Hills, Streets of Gold, The Official Rules of Golf with Tom Watson and Peter Alliss, a George Knudson golf instructional tape and the 1986 Masters Tournament, among others. The set is untested but all items appear in good condition, with light general wear consistent with age. | | *The SL-2000 of the early 1980s was Sony's flagship portable Betamax, designed to pair with Trinicon video cameras for recording on location and to dock with the TT-2000 for home use. Shipping Charges will be calculated once the Auction has closed and will be added to the invoice once pick-ups are completed. We ship through Canada Post, which means we only ship within the parameters of their dimensions & weight. Anything won in our auctions above and beyond that will be forfeited.
Transportation fees start at $40.00 if you are unable to pick up your items on the scheduled day.
