Metal compact with an attached lipstick holder, patented on December 2, 1924, and marked Deauville by Richard Hudnut. Compact features a circular design with delicate etched patterns and a closed rectangular monogram space on the lid. Interior includes a mirror and faint remnants of cosmetic product. The attached cylindrical lipstick holder also shows etched patterns and contains remnants of lipstick. Light wear on metal consistent with age and use. Compact diameter: approx. 2.5 in; lipstick holder height: approx. 2.25 in.
