Yves Caron is a Canadian artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. He was born in Quebec City in 1957 and studied art at the Université Laval in Quebec. Caron works in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture, and his work often explores themes of nature, ecology, and the human condition.

Caron's paintings and drawings often feature bold, expressive brushstrokes and a vivid, almost psychedelic color palette. He frequently incorporates natural elements such as plants and animals into his work, creating surreal and dreamlike images that blur the boundaries between reality and imagination. In his sculpture and installation work, Caron explores similar themes, using found materials and natural objects to create intricate and thought-provoking works.

Caron has exhibited his work extensively throughout Canada, and his artwork is held in many public and private collections, including the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa and the Art Gallery of Alberta in Edmonton. In addition to his art practice, Caron is also a teacher and has taught art at several universities and colleges in Canada.
