    Jo Beale is a Canadian artist known for miniature watercolour paintings, particularly Nova Scotia seascapes and landscapes, with her work spanning from 1986 to the present.
    She graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1984.
    Her reproductions are sold as "Hasti-note Cards" and featured in portfolios for various Canadian locations, including Butchart Gardens and several Canadian Pacific Railway hotels.
    She has resided in Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, since 1972.

    A large collection of reproductions of Beale's miniature watercolour paintings have been printed in the form of Hasti-note Cards, and sold in Canada. Each series is assembled as a portfolio and many of the Images describe the artist's familiar Nova Scotia seascapes, landscapes, boats and architecture. The work was started in 1986 and continues today. Jo Beale has lived in Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia since 1972.
    Jo Beale was born in 1954, in Ottawa, Canada, and graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1984 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (Studio).
    Beale has painted and reproduced custom series of miniatures for locations across Canada, including the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC, The Canadian Pacific Railway Hotels, Empress Victoria, Chateau Whistler, Banff Springs, Chateau Lake Louise, Royal York and Chateau Frontenac. The Canadian Pacific Railway Engines Series (early models to present day) is also a portfolio package of five. The Rocky Mountain series is another set of five for the shops in the Banff resort and Lake Louise. Also available is a series of five of the resort town of St. Andrews, New Brunswick.
